Nomenclatura instituțională romană și instituțiile românești – privire comparativă
Abstract: (The Roman institutions arose out of lex, ius and practice) But it was practice that led them to perfection. Therefore, the Roman principles of ruling a state were a model for the Renaissance, the Enlightenment (see Enlightened Absolutism), but also the French Revolution by the institutions resulting from these processes, by the legislative framework, the statesmen and not only. The Romanian institutions are rooted in the Latin ones to a great extent, but there are also other European and worldwide institutions which took over, if not the name, at least the principles promoted by the Roman institutions. The Romanians have followed the Roman model, regardless of the historical period, as a natural consequence of their belonging to the Latin kin. The nomenclature and the Roman background have been preserved in the Romanian institutions, which contain, more or less, the generating Latin element.

Rezumat: Practica este însă cea care le-a dus la perfecţiune. De asemenea, principiile romane de conducere a statului au fost un model pentru Renaştere, Iluminism (vezi Absolutismul luminat), dar şi pentru Revoluţia franceză prin instituţiile rezultate în urma acestor procese, prin cadrul legislativ şi prin oamenii de stat şi nu numai. Instituţiile româneşti provin în majoritate covârşitoare din instituţiile latineşti, dar sunt şi alte insituţii europene şi mondiale care au preluat, dacă nu numele, cel puţin principiile promovate de către instituţiile romane. Românii au respectat acest model roman, indiferent de perioada istorică, ca o consecinţă firească a apartenenţei lor la ginta latină. Nomenclatura şi fondul roman au fost păstrate cu fidelitate în instituţiile româneşti, care au fiecare, într-o proporţie mai mică sau mai mare, elementul latin generatoriu.
