Iconicitate şi limbaj – consideraţii asupra înţelegerii gestului iconic ca metalimbaj în isihasmul carpatin
Abstract: (Iconic and language - considerations on understanding iconic gesture as meta in Carpathian hesychasm) The paper focuses on a text considered by Pierre Boudon important in establishing today’s semiotics of the image, a text which belongs to the volume L’iconicité et ses images. Etudes sémiotique by Jean-François Bordron. It is a chapter entitled Iconicity in which the interest is not on the classical issue: resemblance, representation, mimicry, but on matters related to iconicity and language, iconic categorization and mereology as well as iconicity as a point in the process of forming meaning. Within the area of such a subject matter, we will attempt to approach the elements which make possible a discussion on Carpathian hesychasm presented by hieromonk Ghelasie Gheorghe, who insisted on phrases such as iconic language, iconic gesture, iconic anthropology, etc. in his volumes. We will attempt to see what unifies and separates the iconic gesture in the view of a hesychast from the coordinates of an iconic moment as Jean-François Bordron sees it.

Rezumat: Comunicarea se desfăşoară pe marginea unui text considerat de Pierre Boudon important în ceea ce înseamnă constituirea unei semiotici a imaginii, astăzi, text ce se regăseşte în volumul L’iconicité et ses images. Etudes sémiotiques ( Jean-François Bordron). E vorba de un capitol − Iconicitatea − faţă de care interesul nostru, în demersul de faţă, nu se fixează atât pe problematica clasică: asemănare, reprezentare, mimetism, cât pe chestiunile legate de iconicitate şi limbaj, iconicitate categorială şi mereologie, respectiv iconicitatea ca moment în interiorul constituirii unui sens. În orizontul generat de atare tematică încercăm o identificare a elementelor ce fac posibilă o întâlnire cu un discurs asupra isihasmului, în forma sa carpatină, prezentată astfel de ieromonahul Ghelasie Gheorghe, care, în volumele sale, a adus cu insistenţă în atenţie sintagme precum limbaj iconic, gest iconic, antropologie iconică, etc. Vom încerca să vedem ce uneşte şi ce desparte gestul iconic, în viziunea isihastului, de sensul coordonatelor unui moment iconic, aşa cum îl conturează Jean-François Bordron.
