La presencia de Vintilă Horia en el periódico rumano “Carpații” de Madrid
Abstract: (Vintilă Horia in the Romanian newspaper “Carpaţii” of Madrid). Guided by the theme of the colloquium, our presentation will focus on one of the representative Romanian exile personalities, Vintilă Horia. After the establishment of communism in Romania, he decided to exile abroad, since he did not share the same ideology. First, he went to Latin America and lived for some years in Argentina; then he chose France as the country of destination, and later he settled in Spain for the rest of his life. He was born in 1915 in Romania; therefore we celebrate the centenary of his birth. In Spain he worked extensively teaching at the Faculty of Communication of Madrid and he was one of the most prolific Romanian authors in the exile; he won several awards for his intense artistic work. Although the work of Vintilă Horia has been studied, analyzed and reanalyzed since the fall of communism in Romania, we thought it would be important to recover other testimonies that have not been examined yet up to date. Therefore, we intend to bring to light information that was published in one of the most important newspapers of the Romanian exile, "Carpatii", which was published for decades in Madrid and whose founder was the poet Aron Cotruş.

Resumen: Ateniéndonos al tema del coloquio, nuestra ponencia versará sobre una de las personalidades rumanas representativas del exilio, Vintilă Horia. Después de la instauración del comunismo en Rumanía, decidió exiliarse al extranjero, por no compartir la misma ideología. Primero, dirigió sus pasos hacia América Latina y vivió algunos años en Argentina; posteriormente, eligió Francia como país de destino, para que, más tarde se instalase en España para el resto de su vida. Nació en 1915, en Rumanía; por lo tanto celebramos el centenario de su nacimiento. En España desarrolló una amplia actividad docente en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación de Madrid y fue uno de los más prolíficos autores rumanos en el exilio, galardonado con varios premios por su intensa labor artística. A pesar de que la obra de Vintilă Horia se ha estudiado, analizado y reanalizado desde la caída del comunismo en Rumanía, pensamos que es importante recuperar otros testimonios que no se han examinado hasta la fecha. Por consiguiente, nos proponemos sacar a luz informaciones inéditas que se publicaron en uno de los periódicos más importantes de los exiliados rumanos, “Carpații”, que se editó por varias décadas en Madrid y cuyo fundador fue el poeta Aron Cotruș.
