El periódico El Censor como fuente indirecta de regionalismos lingüísticos en la España del siglo XVIII
Abstract: The Periodical El Censor as an Indirect Source of Linguistic Regionalisms in the Spain of the 18th Century. The socio-cultural treatment of geographic variation in the use of language is a field that connects linguistics and sociology, in which investigators have been interested since the second half of the 20th century. This type of study is logically convenient for those who investigate the synchronic state of the language today but at the same time, obviously, becomes more difficult when it comes to linguistic states of times that are chronologically distant from our era. In this study, we are going to approach this question starting out from the Spanish language of the 18th century, examining what characteristic features are attributed to oral Spanish, as it is spoken in Galicia and in Andalucia in El Censor, a periodical publication edited in the same century. The articles that show these features with an ironic tone can be considered important indirect sources as far as the socio-cultural treatment of linguistic regionalisms of the era mentioned are concerned.

Resumen: El tratamiento socio-cultural de la variación geográfica en el uso de lenguaje es un campo que enlaza la lingüística y la sociología, que a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo XX preocupa a los investigadores. Este tipo de estudio se ofrece de forma lógica en el caso para quienes investigan el estado sincrónico de la lengua en la actualidad, pero, también de modo obvio, resulta más difícil cuando se trata de estados lingüísticos de tiempos cronológicamente distantes de nuestra época. En nuestra comunicación intentaremos aproximarnos a esta cuestión en el español del siglo XVIII examinando qué rasgos característicos son atribuidos al español hablado en Galicia y en Andalucía en El Censor, publicación periódica editada en el siglo mencionado. Los artículos que presentan dichos rasgos con tono irónico pueden ser considerados fuentes indirectas importantes en cuanto al tratamiento socio-cultural de los regionalismos lingüísticos de la época mencionada.
