Limbajul comentariului sportiv. Pattern și creativitate
Abstract: (The Language of Sports Commentary. Pattern and Creativity) The language of sports commentary, subject of precise operational schemes, may become a space for exercising the creativity. An integrative vision on this phenomenon cannot exclude the linguist. We will try to demonstrate in this paper which is the lexical arsenal of sports commentators. In this regard, I chose and analyzed some prominent examples, words or phrases used by editors, both in print and radio or television commentaries. I noticed how some words and meanings are easily transferred from one sport to another or from one functional style to another. The art of talking about sport, the ability to assess the quality of a sport player, become thereby true doorways into the story. She involves two major poles, the one who plays on a tennis court, stadium, ring or in a hall and the one who competently comment about the game, about player performance. It is, up to a point, a relationship similar to that between an author and his reader, extremely sensitive, complicated, unpredictable, depending on many rules and teachings.

Rezumat: Limbajul comentariului sportiv, supus unor scheme precise de funcționare, poate deveni un spațiu de manifestare a creativității. O viziune integratoare asupra acestui fenomen nu-l poate exclude pe lingvist. Vom încerca să arătăm, în această lucrare, care este arsenalul lexical al comentatorilor sportivi. Am ales, în acest sens, și analizat câteva exemple concludente, cuvinte sau expresii utilizate de redactori, atât în presa scrisă, cât și-n comentariile televizate ori radiofonice. Am observat cum unele cuvinte și sensuri sunt, cu ușurință, transferate dintr-un sport într-altul sau dintr-un stil funcțional într-altul. Arta de a vorbi despre sport, capacitatea de a aprecia calitatea jocului unui sportiv devin, astfel, adevărate porți de intrare în poveste. Ea implică doi mari poli, cel care joacă pe un teren de tenis, pe un stadion, pe un ring sau într-o sală și cel care comentează competent jocul, prestația jucătorului. E o relație, până la un punct, asemănătoare cu aceea dintre autor și cititor, una extrem de sensibilă, de complicată, de imprevizibilă, depinzând de multe reguli și învățături.
