Tehnica variantelor la Tacit (Annales I-VI)
Abstract: (The Technique of Variants at Tacit (Annales I-VI)) In the present paper we highlight some of the modalities which pertain to style, to the manner of writing, by which Tacitus succeeds in imposing on his readers (in the first six books of the Annales) a certain point of view, in a way which is not at all evident. I have proposed, as the foremost method of accomplishing this goal, a so-called technique of variants. After inventoring these variants, I have tried to group them and to emphasize the effects obtained through each category.

Rezumat: În lucrarea de față evidențiem câteva dintre modalitățile stilistice, de scriitură, prin care Tacitus, în Annales (studiu limitat la primele șase cărți) reușește să impună cititorilor săi un anumit punt de vedere, fără ca acest lucru să fie făcut în mod evident. Am propus, ca modalitate principală a realizării acestui lucru o așa-numită tehnică a variantelor. După inventarierea acestor variante, am încercat o clasificare a acestora și o evidențiere a efectelor obținute prin fiecare categorie în parte.
