Il lessico della crisi: come cambia la lingua italiana in tempi difficili
Abstract: (The lexicon of crisis: how the Italian language changes in difficult times) This article aims to explore how the Italian language reacts and adapts to crises, analysing the emergence of new terms, semantic changes and the role of the media and social networks in spreading this vocabulary. Through the analysis of journalistic sources and the views of accurate linguistic observers, we will try to understand whether these transformations are temporary or whether they mark a lasting change in the Italian language, whether they lead to a desertification of the language or to its enrichment.

Riassunto: Questo articolo si propone di esplorare come la lingua italiana reagisce e si adatta alle crisi, analizzando l'emergere di nuovi termini, le modifiche semantiche e il ruolo dei media e dei social network nella diffusione di tale lessico. Attraverso l'analisi di fonti giornalistiche e delle visioni di accurati osservatori linguistici, cercheremo di comprendere se queste trasformazioni sono temporanee o se segnano un cambiamento duraturo nella lingua italiana, se portano ad una desertificazione della lingua oppure ad un arricchimento.
