Geographia Ravennantis și Dacia: o mărturie despre interferențele dintre provinciile post-romane în secolul al VII-lea
Abstract: (Geographia Ravennantis and Dacia: a Testimony about the Interferences between Post-Roman Provinces in the VIIth Century) Although it takes consistent information from ancient geographic documents – especially from Strabo's and Ptolemy's Geographies, respectively, from the Peutingerian Tabula – Geography of Anonymous in Ravenna, from the end of the 7th century, it is not a simple compilation, but a thorough adaptation to its age. The information about Dacia in this paper is likely to provide some interesting details regarding the status of the province in the so-called silent Middle Ages.

Rezumat: Deși preia consistent din informațiile furnizate de documentele geografice antice – în special din Geografiile lui Strabon și Ptolemeu, respectiv, din Tabula Peutingeriana – Geografia Anonimului din Ravenna, de la sfârșitul secolului VII, nu este o simplă compilație, ci o amănunțită adaptare la epoca sa. Informațiile despre Dacia din această lucrare sunt de natură să ofere unele detalii interesante privitoare la statutul provinciei în așa-zisul Ev Mediu tăcut.
