Aspecte ale activității comuniste în Banat în anul 1944
Abstract: (Aspects of the Banat Communist Activity at the End of 1944) The Communist Party of Romania began to manifest itself intensely in Romania, and so in Banat, during 1944. The Communist Party of Romania acted even when it was not legitimate, using other political formations such as the Unique Front of Workers. Also, the Communist Party undertook a series of actions aimed at attracting new members or to disciplinate the population. These kind of actions were usual in Banat, too. In this region, the party had a few members in 1944, especially because around the country were only about 1.000 members at the time. The Communist Party acted through various organizations, in the beginning taking part in the success of attracting members of other historical political parties. At the end of 1944, success was not entirely attained in Timiș-Torontal county because only the workers responded positively to the calls of the communists, meanwhile the peasantry still related itself to the National Peasant Party

Rezumat: Partidul Comunist din România a început să se manifeste tot mai intens în România, deci și în Banat, de-a lungul anului 1944. Partidul Comunist din România a acționat chiar și atunci când nu era legitim, folosindu-se de alte formațiuni politice precum Frontul Unic Muncitoresc. Până să devină partid de guvernare, dar și după, Partidul Comunist a întreprins o serie de activități menite să atragă membri noi sau să disciplineze populația. Aceste acțiuni au apărut și în Banat. În această regiune, membri partidului erau puțini în 1944, mai ales datorită faptului că la nivelul întregii țări, existau circa 1000 de membri la momentul menționat. Partidul Comunist a acționat prin diferite organizații, având parte, pentru început, de succesul de a atrage și membri altor partide politice istorice. La sfârșitul anului 1944, pentru județul TimișTorontal, succesul nu era în totalitate atins deoarece doar muncitorimea a reacționat pozitiv la chemările comuniștilor, pe când țărănimea se considera încă legată de Partidul Național Țărănesc.
