Abstract: (Collaborating in Science) Although the search for truth and the results of this very process are profoundly undemocratic, the whole struggle increasingly requires an environment characterized by “sociality”. Since the human knowledge extends and deepens itself, becomes more accurate and more specialized, and tends to transgress the limits of the scientific fields, the collaborative effort seems to be the necessary solution for achieving solid results and, consequently, genuine scientific progress.
