Reprezentări ale femeii romane în Analele lui Tacitus
Abstract: (Women representations in Tacitus Annals) Both about Tacitus and the roman woman was spoken and written a lot. What else is there to say? We know from the Tacitean Annals almost every aspect of her: mother, priestess, wife, prostitute or empress. We will describe each representation from the tacitean point of view (historical and linguistic), but also from a modern perspective comparing it with the general roman social view at that time. Thereby we will try identifying Tacitus objectivity and his purposes (moral, politic, etc.) in praising or criticizing women characters.

Rezumat: Atât despre Tacitus, cât şi despre femeia romană s-a vorbit şi s-a scris mult. Şi totuşi ce ar mai fi de spus? Ştim din analele taciteene aproape toate ipostazele în care s-a aflat aceasta: mamă, preoteasă, soţie, prostituată sau împărăteasă. Vom descrie fiecare reprezentare a acesteia atât din punct de vedere tacitean, cât şi din punct de vedere modern făcând de asemenea o comparaţie cu viziunea generală a femeii în lumea romană. Astfel vom încerca să identificăm atât de intens discutata obiectivitate a lui Tacitus.
