L’identité entre éclatement et refaçonnement dans la littérature issue de l’immigration maghrébine
Abstract: The female main characters of the novels of the Maghrebi immigrant writers live in-between-alienating identity. Shared between two cultures, two communities, without really belonging to one or other, always embodying the "Other" - the one who is foreign to the group, the young "beurettes" ("young Frenchwomen of north-African origins") oscillate constantly between two identities - "the girl-itself "and" the-family-girl / the community girl". They move forward with difficulty, go round in circles and cannot / or have difficulty in finding a way that allows them access to a life free of contraints. In our article, we are interested in Samia, one of the female characters of the novel Ils disent que je suis une beurette of Soraya Nini. While symbolizing the "outside", the girl succeeds after a "trip" to reshape her fragmented identity and to find the way towards a "third space ", a hybrid space where both cultures and both identities, which characterize her, eventually become reconciled.

Résumé: Les personnages féminins autour desquels se construisent les romans des écrivaines issues de l’immigration maghrébine vivent un entre-deux-identitaire aliénant. Partagées entre deux cultures, deux communautés, sans appartenir réellement à l’une ou à l’autre, incarnant toujours « l’Autre » - celui qui est étranger au groupe, les jeunes « beurettes » vacillent sans cesse entre deux identités – « la fille-pour-elle-même » et « la fille-pour-sa-famille / pour-la-communauté ». Elles avancent péniblement, tournent en rond et n’arrivent pas / ou arrivent difficilement à trouver l’issue qui leur permette l’accès à une vie en toute liberté. Dans notre contribution, nous nous intéresserons à Samia, un des personnages féminins du roman Ils disent que je suis une beurette de Soraya Nini. Tout en symbolisant l’individu « hors », la jeune fille réussit après un « voyage » éprouvant à refaçonner son identité éclatée et à trouver le chemin vers un « tiers espace » - un espace hybride où les deux cultures et les deux identités qui la caractérisent finissent par se réconcilier.
