Un protopop şi epoca sa. Circularele lui Gherasim Sârb
Abstract: (An archpriest and his era. Gherasim Sârb’s circulars) For the preparation of this study were analyzed approximately five hundred shared documents issued by deanery of Belinţ and signed by Father Gherasim Sârb, the man who not only led the souls of the faithful of his parish, but the priests of the deanery Belinţ, in the early twentieth century. Based on these considerations this research is supported by two pillars: in the first part is presented the biographical data of the priest Gherasim Sârb, then based solely on the documents from Timisoara Metropolitan Archive, we can draw the neccesary conclusions on the activity during the Archpriest mandate at Belinţ.

Rezumat: În vederea întocmirii acestui studiu au fost analizate aproximativ 500 circulare emise de protopopiatul din Belinţ şi semnate de părintele Gherasim Sârb, omul care a condus destinele sufleteşti nu numai ale credincioşilor din parohia sa, ci şi ale preoţilor din Tractul Belinţ la începutul secolului al XX-lea. Pornind de la aceste considerente, prezenta cercetare este susţinută de doi piloni: în prima parte se urmăreşte o prezentare a datelor biografice a părintelui Gherasim Sârb, apoi, exclusiv pe baza documentelor arhivistice mitropolitane timişorene, vom extrage concluziile ce se impun asupra activităţii din timpul mandatului de protoiereu la Belinţ.
